Arlene
and John Neilson
Arlene
Neilson, a retired teacher, has been volunteering for wildlife
for the past 23 years. She first came to the Canadian Wildlife
Federation, as a volunteer for the Canadian Museum of Nature,
to put together a wildlife slide show. Originally, she was
to work here for 3 weeks, but, 9 years later, she is still
helping out. Arlene is an invaluable volunteer, not only
for her photographic skills, but as a traveling spokeswoman
for CWF programs and wildlife habitat.
John
Neilson, a professor of computer science at Carleton University,
is also retired. However, his computer skills are put to
good use at CWF where he provides help with our databases.
Since retiring, John has become actively involved in the
transfer of photographs onto cd's, a skill which made the
colour of this website possible.
both
Arlene and John have been involved in photography since
the early 1980's. Members of the Camera Club of Ottawa for
the past 15 years, they have enjoyed advancing levels of
success in photography competitions from across the country.

passion for photography. Their collection of photographs
is a treasury of stunning landscapes and nature scenes.
You
