Robertson
Jim
Robertson is a self-taught amateur photographer. He has
been wielding a camera for close to 30 years, but has been
much more active with it in the past 5 years. Jim was born
in Ottawa, but his career took him to Calgary, Winnipeg,
Edmonton and Toronto before he returned to Ottawa in 1998.
He is now retired from paid work.
Together
with his wife, Linda Jenkins, as script editor and narrator,
Jim has produced an extensive collection of 35 mm two-projector
audio-visual slide shows. These shows range from travelogues
to slide essays on maple syrup production and "A Year
In the Life of a Forest."
Jim,
as with Arlene and John, is an active member of the Camera
Club of Ottawa.
